First Weekend Field Trip
On Saturday March 11 th, 50 + Reelblack.com supporters made a pledge
to attend the 7:40PM showing of TSOTSI at Philadelphia's Ritz Five
theater. This was our inaugural First Weekend Field
Trip and everyone had a fantastic time. Our support
made the show a sellout and added roughly $500 to it's Weekend Boxoffice
take (this is roughly 6% of it's National per-screen average). Afterward,
exactly 34 of us met for dinner at the nearby Pagoda Noodle House
to discuss the film and have a chance at winning free prizes courtesy
of Code Black Productions, Mr. Don Cheadle, Allied/Miramax, Warner
Strategic Marketing, Magnolia Films, Image Entertainment, Fox Video,
